My First Alphabet Phonics ABC App Reviews

The concept was great until I picked up and moved the iPad and it was so glitchy that it kept starting over. Also i can understand having an advertisement at the bottom but having popups on a kid game is ridiculous.

I always do it with my three Year Old Babysitter Child and she loves it! And its also good for Hand - eye - coordination :) Really good "game" ;)

This app does not tell the child when they write the letter incorrectly. This app would be fantastic if it corrected them.

"Hot one to one calls" in app ad running on the screen for an adult call in line? This is a kids app! DELETE!

Very well done - could work for kids and those new to English.

This is a good concept and my 2.5 year old loves to play it but the game moves soooooo slowly, it takes about 15 minutes to get through one round of the alphabet. Also, the ads are super wiley, they pop up as the child is putting their finger on the screen to draw the letter. So wed keep getting redirected to the app we just "clicked" on and she would keep losing her game. I got frustrated and turned it off.

Great game if you dont mind your child constantly hitting the strategically placed ads or constant requests to review, even when you buy the remove ads option. Congrats.

The app keeps freezing. Also, advertisements are too numerous and do not close when tapping the "x".

Love this app. It us just what a person is looking for when teaching kids how to print letters properly.

This app does not teach correct formation of letters. When teaching letters most letters should be one fluid motion. Basically creating one line rather then a bunch of small parts to a letter. For those who do not know how to teach proper letter formation this app could seem great but its actually forming incorrect motor patterns in young children.

Ads are way too agressive

This is a good app for kids to learn with. A little to many ads.

This is a great app for practicing letters, however the ads are pretty invasive. I understand the need for them but there are better ways to go about it.

This app has potential. However there are a few glitches that I would like to see corrected. First off the voice that says the letters has an accent. It pronounced the letter Z as zit. Also some of the letters are not being taught the correct way. Another thing is the constant ads and the reminder to rate this app is quite annoying!!! If you fix these problems the rating for this app would be much better.

Seeing as this app is designed for small children, the apps are... Well, frustrating for the child. This isnt a game so much as a vague learning tool. Remove the ads and I might pick this back up for my son. I have no problem teaching the old pen and paper route if need be.
